Lemon Lime Slush Punch

Grab your flip flops and sunglasses because we are going to the pool! You’ll be craving this perfect lemon LIME slushy after soaking up some sun.

*Prepare the night before so it’s ready when you are!

Ingredients:

2 cups lemon juice

2 cups of sugar

1 cup of water

1 (12oz) can frozen limeade

4 cups of water

2 liter lemon lime soda

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan on medium high heat mix together 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water.

  2. Stir occasionally until all the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Let cool.

  4. Mix 2 cups lemon juice to sugar mixture and pour into 1 gallon zippered plastic freezer bag.

  5. Place sealed bag flat in freezer.

  6. Mix frozen limeade with 4 cups water and pour into 1 gallon zippered plastic freezer bag.

  7. Place sealed bag flat in freezer.
    **Do this the day before**

  8. Remove from freezer and let set on counter for 15 minutes.

  9. Add frozen juice mixes to a large bowl and using a potato masher or knife or large spoon, crush up frozen juice and add to punch bowl.

  10. Add chilled soda to crushed up frozen juice and stir together to create slush.
