What is your business? An online media company to promote healthy eating for kids. http://superhealthykids.com/
What sets you apart from others like you in your community? We’ve been able to connect to parents through social media to inspire and educate them in their journey towards healthier living.
How long have you been in business? 10 years!
How many employees do you have? 22
What’s your favorite thing about owning a business? I love being passionate about my work! There has never been a day in 10 years that I haven’t wanted to work.
What’s the hardest thing about owning a business? Working too much! When you love your job and your business, it’s difficult to stop working at the end of the day, and turn off the computer on weekends. Also, trying to stay on track. As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to get distracted with new and different opportunities.
What advice would you give someone looking to start up their own business? Patience! It takes time to grow a successful business, as long as you are willing to put in the time and be patient. And be sure to hire the right people. With the right people and partners, your business can explode.
What is your secret sauce for success? Always learn and grow. The landscape of business is changing rapidly in this age. Your business has to learn to grow and adapt to all the new ways people consume content and view advertising. Growing, being flexible, and ready to change is key!
