Whether it be a text message conversation, a lead capture page on their website or a scheduling tool to set up an appointment, a QR code can quickly and easily lead your customers to anywhere your business needs them to go.
On the other hand, QR codes make life easier for consumers, as well. Consumers love convenience, they value speedy service and reliable responses from the businesses they are reaching out to. If a consumer can reach the person they are trying to reach or get answers to their questions quickly after scanning a code, they will be more likely to do business with you.
There are currently almost 300 million smartphone owners in the United States. 80 million of those people will be utilizing QR codes in 2022, which is quite a big portion of the smartphone population. It’s only a matter of time before the other two-thirds of those users catch up and start using QR codes on a regular basis as well, so businesses need to jump all in while we’re still ahead of the curve.
QR codes have come a long way since they were created in the 90s. They have been around for a long time, and because of that there has been plenty of time for growth and innovation. QR codes have recently made a huge impact on businesses and consumers and now is the perfect time to utilize them.
